Survey Technician

Matt has been with Latitude since August of 2005. He graduated from Western Michigan University in June of 2004 with a B. S. degree in Construction Engineering. As a survey technician his background in utility and site construction allow him to see “the big picture.” His primary duties are setting up, operating and maintaining survey equipment, transferring electronic data between the office and the equipment, and maintaining the survey vehicle with supplies.

“It’s quite an opportunity to be the one who makes Latitude’s paper drawings become something visual in the field. As part of the Survey department I get to be involved with almost every project we develop. It’s also satisfying to be part of the team delivering a quality product to the client. On many job sites we are the ones dealing with client issues. They know that we will deliver exactly what they want because of Latitude’s willingness to satisfy its clients.”
